If you want to receive an answer from God in your life for healing, personal needs, or in ministry, you have to believe the Word of God. I am still learning more, because the Word of God cannot change! Your Bible is a covenant between you and your God! His Word cannot fail. I want you to know how powerful this covenant is!

When I began to pray over my lung cancer, God spoke to me from His Word. The reason I was healed was not because of some healing evangelist, it was simply because God reminded me of the truth of the covenant I have with Him. God spoke to me from Psalm 89:3, "David, you have the answer, right here in the Bible, I have made a covenant with My chosen, with you."

God will speak to you exactly the same way. Psalm 89:34 says, "My covenant I will not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of My lips." God says to you, "I will not break My covenant. I will not change anything I have said!" What a God, who says, "Whatever I say, I will do it!" I want you to understand the power and authority of God's Word! Verse 34 says, "I will not lie to David!" God cannot lie to us or change His Word. It is so important to know what God is saying to you!

I would never have learnt who God is, His power and His authority, without the experience of being in a communist prison and having lung cancer! - One translation of Hebrews 12: 5-11 says 'The trouble you are in isn't punishment; it's training, the normal experience of God's children... God is doing what's best for us, training us to live His holy best... For it is the well trained who find themselves mature in their relationship with God.' The old hymn says, 'Through it all I have learnt to trust in Jesus, I have learnt to depend upon His Word!'
