'Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in hither the poor, and the maimed, and the halt, and the blind. And the servant said, Lord, it is done as thou hast commanded, and yet there is room. And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and the hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.' (Luke 14:21-24, KJV)

On 23, 24 and 25 March, David was preaching to churches and church leaders in Holland to prepare for the evangelism in the Olympic Stadium in Amsterdam, in June this year. David said: The only purpose of the Church is evangelism. My vision is Europe won for Christ. We have to take all Europe, but the route is through Holland. It's a battle in prayer. We must not fail.

You may ask where the power of God is. The power of God is in the Gospel. The Gospel is not for the Church, but for the lost who are going to hell! The call to the Church is to reach out to the lost - with the Gospel! Jesus said, "When I come back, Heaven will be half empty - get out into the streets, bring in the sinner, the drug addict, the poor - and fill the Kingdom!" The Bible says, whosoever - in Amsterdam, in Holland, wherever - will call upon the Name of the Lord, in that moment when they cry, the power of God will deliver them! Only the preaching of the Gospel saves men from hell. So many living in Amsterdam today - their lives are a living hell - drugs, alcohol, homelessness - only the Gospel will deliver them. And the heart of Gospel is Jesus. The end of the Gospel is Jesus. Nothing else. I am determined that in Amsterdam in June, I will know nothing, preach nothing, except the crucified Christ!

Spurgeon, when preaching on 'compel them to come in' said: For you who have violated all the precepts of God, and have disdained His mercy and dared His vengeance, there is yet mercy proclaimed, for "whosoever calleth upon the Name of the Lord shall be saved." My Master has sent you a gracious invitation. Come and welcome to the marriage feast of His love. "Whosoever will, let him come and take of the waters of life freely." Come, I must lay hold upon you, though you be defiled with foulest filth, and though you have nought but rags upon your back, though your own righteousness has become as filthy clouts, yet must I lay hold upon you, and invite you first, and even compel you to come in.'

The challenge for every believer is: "Go out quickly... and compel them to come in".
