On Sunday David was invited to speak at the New Testament Church in Ijsselstein, Netherlands. The church wanted to know how David plans to celebrate his 60 years of ministry. David said, "I'll tell you exactly how I will celebrate. Sixty years ago I celebrated taking my first church by hiring a tent and evangelising with the help of a Russian ballerina and a Polish ex-SS-officer. This year I am celebrating 60 years of ministry by holding the greatest evangelism in my life!"

David preached from Matthew 8 and Exodus 3 and from his life's experience, that God WANTS to deliver. Many gave their lives to Christ for the first time and were counselled by the church, and there were miraculous healings, also checked and recorded by the church.

Challenged by what God has done through David's ministry in the European Baltic States - in Estonia and in Lithuania in 2008 and 2009 - the church pastor, Hans Tims, believes we should hold the same evangelism in Holland - perhaps as early as 2011. It is 50 years since the great TL Osborne crusades - Hans believes it is time to touch the nation again with the Gospel!
